In 1600 the art is strongly influenced by the Church, in fact, in his representations are often subjects of a religious nature. Art is an educational tool produced to be enjoyed and understood by all.
Art is the result of imagination and its goal is to convince people that something unreal may become real. Here comes the Baroque style in 1600, which concerns not only the art of the Church but also of the courts and city bourgeois. In Italy, Rome is the focus of major development of the Baroque, artists working here as Bernini, Borromini and Caravaggio while in Europe stand out artists like Rembrandt, Rubens and Velasquez.
