With the decline of Florence, because of internal struggles for the city, began to develop two other centers of Italian culture: Rome and Venice. Is here that the greatest artists will converge in 1500, thanks to prominent families and the Church, which will begin to collect works of art classic.

While in the Veneto region of the greatest exponents of the art of this period will be Giorgione, Tiziano, Paolo Veronese and Tintoretto.
